House Returns to DC Next Week

Following passage by the Senate of the GSP/TAA bill last week, it now returns to the House for final passage.  There have not been any public announcements about when the House may take up the GSP/TAA bill, but we’re preparing for (hopefully) the final push to get GSP renewed.

As we noted after the first House vote:

Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) and Trade Subcommittee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) both cited our Coalition state reports on the costs of expiration.  Brady even mentioned the number of companies in Texas on the our GSP Supporter List, so if you’re not on there yet, please add your name before the Senate starts debating the issue.

This House vote will likely be tougher, so we need to make sure we provide House members with the most compelling information possible on the need to renew GSP.  If your company is not already on our GSP Supporter List, make sure to add it by clicking here.
